Madeline Power

POWER, MADELINE JOY - From the time of Madeline's perfect creation, her mommy and daddy allowed her to make all the decisions. She made a dramatic entrance into our arms on February 4, 2014 at the IWK in Halifax. In her short time here she was constantly held, loved, and surrounded by family. She is such a blessing and we could not have asked for a better gift. She is loved beyond measure by her parents Jonathan and Alison (Walter) Power, big sisters Annabel and Juliana, as well as grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends. We are thankful for answered prayer in that we were able to meet her and get to know her, hear her cute noises, kiss her sweet face and hold her tight for three whole days. We are so proud of her and of what she has accomplished. We are honoured that God trusted us with her until He called her home. She went peacefully from Mommy's arms into the arms of Jesus on February 7, 2014. We miss her so much already and she will always be part of our family.
Visiting hours will be held at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800), on Thursday, February 13th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A celebration of Madeline's life will be held on Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14th at Kings Valley Wesleyan Church in Quispamsis at 2pm. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations in Madeline's honour could be directed to the IWK Pediatric Palliative Care Service, the IWK NICU, or the Ronald McDonald House. www.keirsteads.ca
