It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pearl Mills announce her passing on Friday, February 7th,2014 at the Long Term Care in Corner Brook in her 97th year. She will be sadly missed by her sons Dennis and her very special friend Kathleen Carey and Ernest (Mary) Her grandchildren Nicole Mills, James (Krista) Mills Christine Mills-Campbell (Michael), and Amanda Mills-Brown, great-grandchildren Jalyssa, Jada, Alyssa, Noah, Charlotte, Sarah and Sophie and one great-great-grandson Chase. Brother Wilfred (Frances) of St. Patricks, and Robert Colbourne of Springdale, sister-in-law Edith Colbourne of Springdale. Also a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest, parents James & Sarah Colbourne of Coffee Cove, Little Bay, sister Frances, brothers Joseph, Arthur, Augustus and Roland. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake on Monday at 2-4 and 7-9pm. Then Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Howley on Tuesday 11-1pm with the funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. with Arch Decon King officiating.
