At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown on Friday, October 31, 2008, of Mildred Anne McGee (nee McGuigan) of St. Mary’s Road, age 87 years. Wife of the late James Joseph McGee. Loving mother of Jimmy (Eunice), Wayne (Winnie), Inez (Graham Bell), Ben (Diana), Ray (Dorothy), Joyce (Pat) Laturnus, Elaine (Dan) Nau, George (Vanessa), Beatrice, Leo (Kathy), Evelyn (Glen) Powell, Doug (Marilyn), Margaret, Theresa, Louis, Dan and Dianne (Bill) Almon. Cherished grandmother of 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Mary (Fabian) Daley and Peg (Eric) Gauthier. Also survived by her sisters-in-law, Agatha MacDonald, Elizabeth McGee and Agnes (Alison) Leduce. Predeceased by her brothers, George, Theodore and Cecil and by her sister, Martha Cairns. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home until Monday at 10:30 a.m., then to St. Paul’s Church, Sturgeon for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment in the St. Paul’s Parish Cemetery.
