Born Somerton UK, passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Seniors Village with his devoted daughter, Elaine Lamb and son-in-law Tom at his side. Reg is also lovingly remembered by his daughter Susan Beaven (Pat), grandchildren Sarah Trenn (Jason), Bradford Beaven (Angela), Chelsea Lamb (Ryan), Ryan Lamb, and great-grandchildren Matthew, Kimberley, Maxwell, Lilah, and Bryce. He was predeceased by his wife Claire, daughter Shirley Price and sister Molly Toller of Taunton, UK.
Reg served in the RAF in WWII and met Claire while stationed in Bermuda. Returning to Canada afterward he enjoyed a distinguished career with CGE, retiring in 1981 and moving to Sechelt, where he and Claire spent their fondest years on Eureka Place, Halfmoon Bay. Reg is also remembered by family in the UK.
