Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, in the presence of his loving family, on Saturday, February 8th, JAMES JOSEPH BRUSHETT, of Marystown, at the age of 64. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Sisters – Alice Farrell (Ernest) of Mooring Cove, Elizabeth Pidgeon (John Joe) of Marystown, Kathleen Dober (Howard) of Marystown, Beatrice Barry (Kenneth) of Centerville, ON and adopted sister - Debbie Harris (Edward) of Hant’s Harbour; Brother-in-law – Patrick Farrell; Sister-in-law – Bridget Brake; plus a large number of nieces, nephews and special friends. He was predeceased by his Parents – James Joseph and Sarah Ann Brushett; Sisters – Selena Farrell & Julia Brake; Brother – Charles Brake; Nephew – Wayne Farrell; Nieces – Ann Marie Farrell & Alice Brake; Brother-in-law – George Brake.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Wednesday, February 12th, at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to his family.
