WESTVILLE - Joan Catherine Cyr, 73 of Foxbrook Road, Westville passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her home.

Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late John and Dolina (MacCallum) Fraser and chosen daughter of Florence Campbell, Trenton.

Joan was a quiet home person, whose family was her whole life.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Rhonda Hartling (Vernon), White Hill; grand children, Megan Hartling, David and Raymond MacEachern, Mike Robinson and Andy Cottie and great grand children, Nathan, Hayden and Decosta.

She was predeceased by her husband, Murdock, a daughter Dolina MacEachern, sons, Tony and Michael and brother Calvin MacCallum.

Cremation has taken place. Her family will receive visitors on Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her memorial service will be held 2 o’clock Saturday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Captain Neil Abbott officiating,. Spring interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
