MacKILLOP, GEORGE EDWARD “TED” - George Edward “Ted” MacKillop, 71, of Portage Vale, NB, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on February 12, 2014. Ted was a son of the late George and Kathleen (nee Wilson) MacKillop. He is survived by his companion, Linda Patterson; his step-children: Tracy Cummings (David) of Sussex, Karen Jesso (Ernie) of Greenwood, NS, and Robert Hayward of Toronto, ON; his sisters: Mildred McCordic of Nova Scotia and Karen Reid of Bellisle; his brother Jack MacKillop of Hillgrove; his daughters: Lisa Underhill of Ontario and Lori Hare of Elgin; ten grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; as well as by many extended family members and friends. Besides his parents, Ted was predeceased by his son Robert MacKillop.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, from where visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm; the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Lloyd O’Blenis presiding. Interment will be held in the Cardwell Cemetery in the spring. Donations to the A.L.S. Society of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
