The family of the late Anita (McKenzie) Riley, who passed away January 18, 2014, would like to express our appreciation to everyone who shared in our grief over the loss of Anita. For all those friends and relatives who braved the weather on the day of the memorial, we thank you. Thank you for all who sent flowers, cards, gifts, food, on-line condolences, e-mails, donations to various charities, or just gave us a hug. For all the prayers and comfort you sent our way, we will be forever grateful. To Nancy Whitney-Latham for the beautiful service and to Linda Clark Collez, Georgia, who gave a very moving eulogy, we thank you. Thank you to the V.O.N., doctors, nurses and palliative care of the Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital. Thanks to all her quilting friends both in Sheet Harbour, Glace Bay and the ladies of the Old Anderson House, for their special friendship over the years. Special thanks go out to her husband, Don, who never left her side during her illness; her sister, Linda, who brought us her special brand of comfort and to her brother, Roy, who guided us through our time of need. We will all miss her dearly. Finally, thanks to the staff of D.S. Crowell & Son and McGillivray Funeral Homes for your kindness and compassion.
