It is with broken hearts that we the Family and Friends of Ronald Breen "Bud" MacDonald announce his passing on January 29, 2014 at his home in Peace River. Alberta. He was born May 16, 1954 to Frank and Joan MacDonald in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Bud attended Trenton Schools and lived in Alberta all his adult life where he was employed with Encorp Pacific (Canada). He will be sadly missed by his many friends and co-workers.
Bud was a former member of Christ the King Parish, Trenton and Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Peace River. Bud is survived by his daughters Deanne, Lydia, Marilyn and his son Johlden. He leaves loving memories to be cherished by his mom, Joan, his loving sisters Joanie and Lydia; his endearing brothers Murray and Kevin; brother-in-law, Kenny; sister-in-law, Sanja; his adoring nieces, Danielle and Alannah and nephew, Andrew; and numerous relatives. Bud was predeceased by his Dad and grandparents Henry and Cecelia (MacLean) MacDonald, and Alexander and Ada (Andrews) MacDonald; and partner, Lorraine DeFoe.
A memorial mass was held at Chapel of Memories, Peace River on February 8, 2014. A ceremony celebrating and respecting Bud's life will be held in Nova Scotia with Burial at a later date in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Stellarton.

"Bud is not gone, our dearest Love
Nor has he travelled far...
He just stepped inside God's lovelist room
And left the door ajar.
