It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph MacDougall, at Harbourstone on Saturday, February 15, 2014 with his family by his side.
Joe was the son of the late Mary and John 'Jack' MacDougall, New Waterford.
He is the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Claire (Con) Quinlan; nephew Kevin Quinlan and niece, Audrey (Quinlan) Mryden.
He will be missed by his nieces and nephews.
Joe had a very kind soul, he loved children and animals. In his younger years, he enjoyed going for walks. Joe lived a very simple life.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb 19, 2014 at Kennwood Building, in the Great Room, Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility, 84 Kenwood Drive with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
The family would like to thank Dr. J. Archibald for all his care for Joe over the years, and the staff at Harbourstone, Wentworth Court.
