LUTES, RAY A. - Ray A. Lutes passed away peacefully at Fundy Royal Manor, Hillsborough on Friday, February 14th, 2014, at the age of 89. Born in Moncton on March 21st, 1924, he was the son of the late Harry and Mona (Fillmore) Lutes. A Veteran of The Second World War, Ray served with the Royal Canadian Army. Ray is survived by his son Greg Lutes (Susan), daughter Donna Jonah (Dennis Simpson), brothers Ralph Lutes (Nancy), Richard Lutes, grandchildren; Rob (Vicky), Tom (Liz), Kate (Chris), Allison (Jeremy), Elizabeth (Ben), great grandchildren; Avery and Kenzy, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by his loving wife Gladys, a sister Miriam Flewwelling and a brother Ronald Lutes.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. There will be an informal gathering for family and friends on Sunday, February 23rd, at Greg's residence.
