Passed away suddenly at St. Clare's Cardiac Care Unit on Sunday, February 16, 2014. William (Bill) Matthew O'Reilly, age 88 years. Predeceased by grandson Michael Taylor; parents Marion and Leo O'Reilly; brothers Kevin and Jim O'Reilly and sister Shirley Grant. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 54 years Joan; children Bill (Sharmaine), Barry (Mandy), Sean (Clara), Tim (Kelly), Anne (Ray), Mary Beth (Michael) and Maureen (Pat); 16 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter Sophie. Also leaving behind brothers Robert (Pauline), Paul (Cathy); sisters Jean (Fred Young), Marie (Damien Ryan) and Margaret Cooper; special brother - in - law Frank (Barb) Fitzgerald and sister - in - law Marie Hayes. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially Essie Flynn and Jane and Sharon Power who have been a part of Bill's life for many years. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Patrick's Restoration Fund.
