Passed peacefully away, after a courage's battle with Cancer, on February 14, 2014 at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit. Betty will be sadly missed by her loving husband Ed of 57 years, by her brother Bruce (Kitty), sister's in-law Lizzie (Bill) and Pearl and by numerous nieces and nephews and a circle of "special friends". Betty is predeceased by her parents William and Catherine Melloy, sisters Evelyn and Joyce and her brother Wayne. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Sunday February 16 and Monday February 17 from 2- 4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 1p.m. from the Carnell's Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
