McCallum, Arthur Fulton – 86, Vimy Road passed away February 16, 2014 at Magnolia Nursing Home, Enfield. Born in Bible Hill, he was a son of the late Hanna and Hanson McCallum. Art was raised by his oldest brother, Wilfred and his wife Greta in Beaver Brook. He was employed by the Province of Nova Scotia and for 25 years worked at the Youth Training Centre in Bible Hill. He was predeceased by his wife, Leona June Elliott; brothers, Edward, George, Wilfred and Murry; sisters Edna, Ina, Stella and Tressa. Art is survived by daughter, Mary Lee (Carl), P.E.I.; sons, Gordon, Truro, Wesley, North River, Dexter (Janet) Mt. Thom, Wade, Truro; brother Sylvester (Doris), Old Barns; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. We wish to thank the staff at the Magnolia Nursing Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19 from 6-8 pm; funeral service on Thursday, February 20 at 2:00 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Glenn MacLean officiating. Spring interment in Lower Onslow Clarke Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
