It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Amanda George announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons: Michael, BC and Kerry (Jodi), ON; daughters: Lori, Corner Brook and Krista (Steve), Cormack; her grandchildren; sisters: Pat (Mike) MacDonald, Lena Wells, Eileen Sheppard, Irene Joyce and Caroline (Woodrow) Russell, all of Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other ­relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents, Thomas and Ruth Hunt. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 167 Country Road, Corner Brook, on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 between 10 a.m. - 12 Noon, from where the funeral ­service will directly follow at 12 Noon with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment will follow from Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Paraplegic Association.
