Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, on Sunday, February 16th, 2014, Maud Frances Kent (Evans), in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Terrence (Ted); parents John and Mathilda Evans, Laura Evans; her brothers James Evans, Martin, Daniel, and John O'Keefe; sisters Joan Kent, Elizabeth Evans, Catherine Olson, and Agnes O'Keefe. Leaving to mourn her loving son and daughter-in-law Rickey and Marilyn Kent; special niece and nephew Rhonda and Dave Kelly, with whom she resided and whose love and care knew no bounds; their daughters Lynette (Rob) and Janelle (Kirk); her sister Mary Ricketts; and sisters-in-law Maud O'Keefe, Alice Whalen, Agnes O'Keefe, and Catherine Carpentier. Numerous nieces and nephews from Mount Pearl, Bell Island, Pouch Cove, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and the U.S. will also sadly miss "Aunt Maud". Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, Wednesday, February 19th, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, February 20th, at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peter's Parish, Mount Pearl, cremation to follow with family burial at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
