It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Annie Hancock, age 76 years, on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Health Sciences Complex. Predeceased by her sisters: Lizzie Starkes, Effie Dafoe, Betty Wiseman, and Phyllis Philpott; and brother, Sterling Starkes. Loving mother of Nancy Hancock, Mona Morgan, Brad (Darlene), Peter (Linda), Dawn (Floyd) Letto, Clarke (Judy). Nan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Chris (Nancy) White, Matt (Joann) White, Bradley Hancock, Katie Morgan, Laura (Chad) LaGoy, Ben Letto, Janel Hancock, Erica Hancock, Keira Hancock; and great-grandchildren: Sam and Maverick; siblings: Dulcie (Merle) Feltham, Kathy (Geoff) Muggridge, Wayne (Rosalynn) Starkes; Mom will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Celine Dawson and Doctors and Nurses of 4SA HSC - you were all mom`s guardian angels. Resting at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, February 19, and Thursday, February 20, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett`s Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 21, 2014, at 11:00am. Interment will take place at a later date.
