SIMPSON, DAVID LESLIE - It is with great sadness the family announce the death of David Simpson of Rocmaura Nursing Home, formerly of Sussex; who passed away on February 16, 2014 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. David was born in Fredericton February of 1945; the son of the late Frank and Molly (Burns) Simpson. He worked as a Taxi Cab Driver for over 35 years working for Vets, Diamonds, Coastal, Bills' Taxi and retired with Simonds. David loved going for drives in the country and loved animals. He is survived by his loving spouse of over 20 years Marg White of Saint John; step-daughter Theresa Polyakov (Slava) of Toronto, ON; one precious grandson Bohdan; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law Morgan Layman (Mary) and Ann White both of Saint John and Pat White (Therese Cote) of Beachwood; nieces, nephews and friends.
Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday February 19th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday February 20th at 10:00 a.m. Private interment to be held in Sussex at a later date.
