Peacefully at his late residence on Saturday, February 15, 2014 of Mr. John D. Peters of Scotchford age 54 years. Beloved husband of Pattie (nee Soloman) Peters and dear father of Courtney (Courtney), Joey (Emily), J. R. ( Amanda), Devin (Vanessa), Aaron (Tillie), April (Steve) Googoo, Preston (Morgan), and Schurman Peters. He is also survived by many grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ivan Peters, Virgina (Rick) Langley, Victoria (Vincent) Marshall, Ruby Peters, Nancy (Neil Levi) Peters, and Lawrence Peters. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph Schurman and Lorraine (nee Bernard) Peters; his son, Matthew Peters; sister, Lorraine; brothers, Christopher and Joseph. Transferred from the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home to his home at 54 Schurman Lane, Scotchford for visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday. The funeral mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Church, Tracadie Cross on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Parish Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.islandowned.ca.
