Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, on Saturday February 15, 2014, with saddened hearts the family announces the passing of their father Hugh Robbins, age 86 of Montague, beloved husband of the late Helen (nee Behm) Robbins. Hugh is survived by his loving children, Anne (Harvey) MacEwen, Terry (Doris), Donnie (Yolanda), Leslie (Kathy), Joyce (Mike) Cavanagh and Phillip (Faye), Sister Flo MacLean, brother Preston (Winnie), 18 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Phemie Jordan and brothers James, John, Stirling and Elwood. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Wednesday February 19, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the St. Andrews United Church, Vernon Bridge, on Thursday February 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date in the St. Andrews United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Andrews United Church Cemetery Fund or the Kings County Memorial Hospital Equipment Fund would be appreciated by the family.
