CORMIER, GILLES MICHEL "MÉMÉRE" - 1971 - 2014 - Gilles Cormier, 42, of Meadow Brook, NB, passed away on Monday, February 17th, 2014, at the Moncton Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of Clarence and Yvonne (née: Babineau) Cormier. Prior to his illness, Mr. Cormier worked as a carpenter. He will be remembered by his friends for his joking and teasing abilities, as an exceptional person always ready to give a helping hand and who demonstrated artistic and creative talents. Besides his parents, Clarence and Yvonne of Dieppe; Gilles will be remembered as a devoted husband and father by his wife, Danielle (née: Gauvin) and his two daughters: Madeline and Janelle, both at home. He is also survived by one sister, Linda (Serge) Leger of Cap Pelé; one brother, Ronald (Carolle) Cormier of Dieppe; his extended in-laws, the Gauvin family; several nieces and nephews as well as by many friends.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901), on Friday, February 21st, 2014 from 2 pm until time of funeral service which will be celebrated from the chapel at 4 pm.
