LÉGER, HERVÉ - 1929 - 2014 - Hervé Léger, 85, of Shediac, passed away peacefully at the CHU Georges-L-Dumont, on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. He was the common-law husband of Floreen D’eon. Born in Saint-Antoine, he was the son of the late Floribert and Emilienne (Cormier) Léger. Hervé was the original owner of Turbide & Léger in Shediac. He was also a member of the Shediac Golden Age Club. He will be sadly missed by his common-law wife, Floreen, his children; Lisette Léger (Roger Barton) of Riverview and Richard (Gracia Fontaine) of Shediac, his grandson Erick. He also leaves to mourn three sisters; Dot Petersen, Aline Savoie and Thérèse Babineau (Aurèle) all of Saint-Antoine and one brother Gérard (Florence) of Richiboucto and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers; Valmond, Donald and Roger.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, in Saint-Antoine on Friday, February 21st, 2014 from 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 9 to 10:15am. Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Church on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10:30am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Hervé’s memory a donation can be made to CHU Dumont Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
