It is with profound sadness that Reginald and Joan (Vey) Tucker announce the passing of their daughter, Janet Lynn Tucker, age 48 years at the Health Science Center on February 18, 2014. Predeceased by her grandparents, Randell and Sadie Tucker, Lloyd and Beatrice Vey. Her aunts: Winnie Gosse and Shirley Wall, as well as uncles Alex and Arthur. She is survived by her loving parents Reg and Joan; aunts and uncles: Gilbert Tucker (Greta), Margaret Rose, Randell Tucker (Sally), Isabel Butler, Joyce Scriber (Doug), Harvey Gosse, Kay Tucker, Jeanette Saunders (Roy), Eli Vey (Sandra), Louise Parrell (Gerry), Judy Sullivan (Terry), Rosemary Leaman (George), along with Bill Wall. Also leaving a large circle of cousins, other family and many wonderful friends. A special mention to the management and staff of Newfoundland and Labrador Housing. Thank you to Father John Courage and all the staff of the Health Science Center and St. Clare's Mercy Hospitals. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Friday, February 21, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The Tucker family welcomes all to join them in continuing to celebrate Janet's life at a reception being held at the Royal Canadian Legion on Blackmarch Road immediately following committal service.
