Passed away on 20 February 2014 in St. Luke's Home in St. John's, Charlotte Ruby Hammond aged 94 years. Predeceased by her parents George and Isabel (nee Johnston) Ross, her husband Arthur (1996); brothers Malcolm, Edward and Macdonald; sisters Loraine, Barbara and Phyllis. Leaving her daughter Linda (Frederick Smith), granddaughter Samantha Smith, brother Douglas Ross, sister-in-law Millicent Ross and a large circle of nieces and nephews and her friends at St. Luke's Home. The family will receive visitors at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm on Sunday, February 23, 2014. Cremation has taken place by request.
