Passed away suddenly at his home in Ocean Pond on February 19, 2014. George Thomas Walker age 69 years, formerly of Hamilton, Ontario. Predeceased by his parents Francis and Florence Walker and his brother Bob Walker. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Cynthia; children: Sheri Makela (Anthony), Trevor Walker, Kevin Walker (Amanda), Teri Wilson, Nancy Power (Shawn), Richard Parsons (Sharon); A very proud poppy to: one granddaughter, Mikenzie; and six grandsons: Richard, Noah, Jonathan, Kyler, Braydon, Peyton; brothers: Norm Walker (Toni), Jim Walker (Cheryl), sisters in law Bernice Walker and Carol White, along with brother in law Roger Mercer (Karen); as well as many loving nieces and nephews, a multitude of friends and family, especially our winter Texan friends and Ocean Pond friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. and Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory maybe made to the War Amps.
