We, the family of the late Joan (O’Day) MacNeil, wish to extend heartfelt thanks to family members, friends, neighbours and colleagues who have shared in our grief and offered support and kindness at such a difficult time. To those who sent food, flowers, Mass cards, charitable donations, phone calls, online condolences and monetary gifts-your generosity and thoughtfulness are a true testament to the life our mother lived-one filled with love and care for others. Sincere thanks to the doctors and staff of the CBRH’s, ER, CCU, IMCU and Palliative Care Units who lavished professional care on Mom during her battle with illness. Special thanks to Dr. Greg Myatt and Dr. Ann Frances D’Intino-we were so fortunate to have you looking after Mom. Thank you to Fr. Bill Burke for the personal touch you brought to the beautiful Funeral Mass celebrating Mom’s life. Our thanks to the Holy Redeemer choir for the lovely music, and also to the readers, pallbearers and honor guard. To Bill Laurie and staff of The Pier Community Funeral Home, thank you for your compassion and professionalism (the doves were a beautiful touch Mom would’ve loved!). Our deepest gratitude for your thoughtfulness.
