WISEMAN, LETITIA - The death of Letitia Wiseman of the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, formerly of Moncton, occurred of February 20th, 2014 at the Sackville Hospital. Born in Stonehaven on May 8th, 1935, she was the daughter of Rufus and Anna Mae Scott. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Wiseman, her mother, Anna Mae Payne and brother Rev. Edward Scott. She is survived by her daughters Noreen and Heather Wiseman, her sister, Donaldeen McCarthy (Vincent), sister-in-law June Scott, nephews and nieces. Letitia enjoyed her ham radio in her younger years. She went to the Halifax School for the Blind where she learned to knit and did beautiful work. Her dad built her Letitia’s canteen to work at in the summer months where the youth of Stonehaven spent a lot of their time.
Her body is resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday February 26th, 2014 from 12 to 1 pm. Followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the Drew Nursing Home for the care they have given Letitia while she was in their home.
