AUSTEN MURRAY
Card of Thanks
Austen Murray
The family of the late Austen Murray, extends sincere thanks to all who supported us at the time of his passing. First, to the staff of Harborview Hospital Veterans’ wing, and Dr. Andrew Wawer, who cared for Dad with such kindness and respect over the past seven years. Special thanks to Susan Morrison and Don Parks who cared for him from his arrival and to Dianna Bennett who was there when Dad needed help most. To the staff of the Northside General ER and 4-West who treated Dad with dignity and compassion in his last days. To sitters, Joe and Edie, our deepest gratitude for the comfort you gave. To Rev. Peter MacDonald, thank you for a beautiful funeral service in honor of Austen. We appreciated your support and guidance so much. To soloist, Paul Gatchell, organist, Steven MacNeil, and the choir of St. James Presbyterian, your uplifting gift of music gave us peace. To St. James Ways and Means committee, thank you for providing such a lovely reception. Thank you to Clayton Murphy and staff of Fillmore and Whitman Funeral home for your compassionate service.
To all the family, friends and neighbors who attended the funeral, sent food, cards, messages of reminiscences, offered prayers, and gave donations in Dad’s memory, your thoughtfulness has touched our hearts and eased our sorrow.
