Kenneth Cole

COLE, KENNETH WILLIAM - On February 22nd 2014 at the age of 83, Kenneth William Cole Sr, husband of the late Betty Doreen (Janes), and son of the late Frank and Leona (Bowser), passed away at St. Joseph's hospital with his family by his side. Born December 1st 1930 in Saint John, Ken worked as an Electrician by trade; he spent the greater part of his career as the Electrical Manager for Marque Construction; in 1996 he became a member of the IBEW's Local 502 Retiree Club.

For many years he sought the beast, A hunting man who's now deceased,
He roamed the hills, and valleys far, Now he hunts upon a star

Many years before his pass, He lived a life of simple task, No fancy car or truck did he,
Two muscled legs is all that nee

Many nights he spent alone, Thru wind and rain snowy blown,
His skin was browned like leathered hide, This man had nothing but his pride

He had a love within his life, An angel woman was his wife,
She guided him thru hard and thin, And raised their children just like him

As we sit here and we speak, He was our Dad, a soul to keep,
Them days are gone, we will miss him so,
A hunting man with dog in tow
Ken is survived by his sister, Helen Jones of Quebec, sons Ken Jr “Duke” (Jane), Nerepis, and Steven of Grand Bay-Westfield; daughters Carol (Daryl) Burhoe, Saint John, Mary Ann (Terrence) Lawlor, Saint John, Sharon Cole, Saint John, Tracy (Stuart) Logan, Nerepis, and Christina (Sean) Randell of Nerepis; grandchildren Ken III, Keith, Kevin, Amanda, Betty, Mary, Ronda, Jason, Ryan, Sasha, Lauren, Melissa, Mitchell, Corey, Jessica, Tristen and Braeden; great-grandchildren Jeremy, Katelyn, Lily, Kamryn, Edward, Taylor, Jenna, Kyle and Brianna.
