We, the family would like to sincerely thank everyone who shared in our grief over the loss of Emmeline. For all those who sent condolences, phone calls, Mass cards and sympathy cards, we thank you. For all the prayers, visits, hugs and comfort you sent our way, we will be forever grateful. To Kenny and staff of McGillivray Funeral Home you are truly a blessing, your guidance and compassion in honoring Emmeline was heartfelt. For Father Danny Boudreau and Father Paul McGillivray the celebration of the Mass was comforting and uplifting, to Father Danny for exemplifying Emmeline’s stateliness at church, we thank you. For the Immaculate Conception Choir, readers, pallbearers and offerings, we thank you. To the staff at NewWaterford Heights for the exceptional care given to Emmeline. When she returned to New Waterford after her spell in the Regional Hospital, she smiled and said “Home.” To Palliative Care for the support and care, we thank you. To the military and ex-military who remembered the only female civilian member of the Royal Cape Breton Airforce.
