DUBOIS-COLLETTE, HUBERTE (1931 - 2014) - It is with profound sadness, the family announces the passing of Huberte Dubois-Collette, 82, of Moncton, formerly of St-Anselme, NB, on Wednesday, February 26th, 2014, at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in St-Paul-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and the late Lorette (née: Maillet) Melanson. Mrs. Dubois-Collette had worked as a registered nurse; the majority of her career was at the Dr Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, the last 10 years at the Moncton Detention Center. She was a member of Les Dames d'Acadie, Notre-Dame-d'Acadie parish and formerly of Saint-Anselme parish. She is survived by three daughters: Linda Dubois, Suzanne Dubois (Scott MacWilliams) and Jacqueline Dubois (Ken Fraser), all three from Halifax, NS; two sons: Michel Dubois (Gisèle LeBlanc) of Ammon and Roger Dubois of Moncton; two beloved grandchildren: Yannik and Adèle; one sister, Bernadette (Wayne) Woodland of Moncton; three brothers: Jean-Paul Melanson and Réginald Melanson, both of Moncton and Antoine Melanson of Bouctouche; the extended Collette family, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Fernand Dubois in 2002, her 2nd husband, Médard Collette in 2014, as well as by four brothers: baby Arthur, Aldéric, Joseph, and Roger.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Sunday from 1 to 4 pm ONLY. Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, Dieppe, NB on Monday, March 3rd, 2014 at 10 am. Interment in Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
