It is with sincere and heartfelt thanks that Ruth’s ­family wishes to express their appreciation to all who helped during her illness and passing.

It is impossible to individually acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy to our family. The visitors, phone calls, messages, flowers, cards, food, donations to various causes in her name were very much ­appreciated. Special thanks to the ambulance drivers, organist and musicians (Jackie, Kelly and Wallie), Holy Trinity Church Choir and servers, ACW for food provided following funeral, readers, pallbearers, Rev. Steven Maki, Dr. Thomas and Dr. Wignall, community nurse M. Parsons, staff of East Haven Funeral Home for their kind and professional manner (special ­recognition to Justin who was so caring, genuine and provided outstanding services).

A special thanks to Aunt Peggy for your kindness and support throughout Mom’s illness and passing. Many thanks to Michelle for her help, love and support. Thank you to all of those who attended the wake, service and the funeral. Every kind gesture was greatly appreciated and did not go unnoticed. To each and every one of you, we want you to know that we feel blessed to have been surrounded by such a warm and loving community of friends and family.

Her gentle nature was especially dear to us and will always be remembered.
