Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, November 9, 2008 of Mrs. Mary H. (nee Ambrose) Larter of Covehead, age 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd R. Larter and dear mother of Elizabeth (James) Viccars of Calgary, Alberta, Darlene (John) Sheehan of Hillsburgh, Ontario, Caroline Larter of Covehead and Mary Helen Larter of Charlottetown. Mary is also survived by five loving grandchildren, Aaryn and Justin, Letitia and Jessica, and Lloyd Rendle. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Katie Green, and her lifetime friend, Marge Ivany. Transferred from the Hennessey Funeral Home to St. Eugene’s Church, Covehead, for visitation at the church on Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Eugene’s Church on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
