VERRIER, JACQUES JOSEPH WILFRED - Jacques J. W. Verrier, 76, of Royal Court, Riverview and formerly of Barrie, ON, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, February 27, 2014.
Born in Verdun, Quebec, Jacques was the son of the late Wilfred and Annette (Deslauriers) Verrier. Jacques was retired from Crown Cork & Seal. He enjoyed cooking, travelling, playing crib and spending time with his family and friends. Jacques will be sadly missed by his daughter, Cathy Spencer (Joe Doucet) and son, Shawn Spencer, both of Moncton; grandchildren, Jakob and Emma Doucet; sister, Jacqueline Matulis (Joseph) and brother, Marcel Verrier, both of Ontario; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Vienneau (David) of Moncton, Shirley Butler of Harcourt, Judy Wry (Wade) and Carla Robinson, both of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Nadine (Robinson) Verrier (December 2012).
In keeping with Jacques’ wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Interment, St. James Presbyterian Cemetery, Beersville. Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) in care of arrangements.
