Peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Friday, February 28, 2014 of Marie Hughes of Charlottetown and formerly of Tracadie Cross, age 71 years.
Daughter of the late James P. and Ruth (McQuaid) Hughes and dear sister of Philip (Katherine) Hughes of Tracadie Cross and Florence Hughes. She is also lovingly remembered by her nephews Donnie (Joyce) Hughes of Tracadie Cross and Gerry (Sylvie) Hughes of Whitby, Ont.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday, then transferred to St. Bonaventure Church, Tracadie Cross, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment will take place later in St. Bonaventure Parish Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m.
