Margaret Moseychuck, 94, residing at Ivany Place, Bedford, N.S., went home to be with the Lord on, Friday, Feb. 28, 2014.
She was born in New Waterford, Cape Breton, N.S. on Sept. 16, 1919. Margaret was the daughter of the late Roddie (Loretta) MacIntyre.
Margaret was a former employee of the New Waterford Hospital and Massachusetts Hospital, in Boston, Mass. She enjoyed reading, dancing, and had a great sense of humour. Margaret was blessed with a genuine concern for the welfare of others, and helped many people who were in need.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Lillian) Moseychuk; sister, Elizabeth (Jim) Gillis; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Victor, son, Robert (Bobby), sisters, Mary (Jack) Eldridge, Annie (Frank) MacPherson, Viola MacIntyre and one brother, Charles MacIntyre.
Visitation will be held at V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford, today (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. A private service will be held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
