It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joan Moores announce her sudden passing at the Health Sciences Complex on Friday, February 28, 2014, at age 71 years. Predeceased her husband Henley Moores (1990), and her brother Don Noseworthy. Leaving to mourn, her daughter Jacqueline Collins (Ron); her son Stephen Moores (Lisa); her 3 precious grandchildren: Zoe, Kyle and Maria; her sister, Maxine Bryant (Paul - deceased); her sister-in-law, Marina Noseworthy; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends - especially her close friends Theresa Summers and Lillian Baker. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, March 1, and Sunday, March 2, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 3, 2014, at 11:00am, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
