Passed peacefully away John L. Picco February 28, 2014 with his loving family at his side. Predeceased by his mother and father Richard and Beatrice Picco; brothers: Harold, Gordon and Greg Picco; sister, Joan Burry; as well as his mother and father in law, Ben and Evelyn Squires, brothers in law, Vallace and Winston Squires; sister in law Annie and Dorothy Picco, nephews: Benjamin A Squires and Clayton B. Tucker. Leaving to mourn his loving wife and best friend of 49 years Louise Picco, daughter, Carmella Evans; two sons: Carl (Ann) Picco and Richard Picco. Five precious grandchildren all whom he adored: Kyle, Spencer and Faith Evans; Nicholas and Joshua Picco. Also leaving to mourn his sister Rose (Dennis) King, brother Nathan Picco; brothers in law Halley Squires and Frank Burry; sisters in law: Susie Tucker (Walter) and Grace Tucker as well as family members: Jim Evans, Kelly Johnson and Emily Squires, along with many family and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. Roy Lilly, Dr. Stone and Dr. Bense for the good care that they provided to John while he was sick. Also thanks to nurse Mary Hicks of community health and special friend Sally Lemesusier and Jessie Churchill. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Saturday and Sunday from 10- 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Philip's Anglican Church on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, St. Philip's.
