LEE, MARGARET PATRICIA - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Margaret Patricia Lee, wife of the late Glendon Lee, which occurred peacefully on March 4, 2014 at Bobby's Hospice. Margaret was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother in law and sister. She was born April 24, 1920 in Saint John, New Brunswick to the late George and Sadie (Chase) Stackhouse. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Arsenault (Roger) and three sisters; Shirley Stackhouse, Vivian Garrett and Frances Coloris all of Saint John West. Margaret is also survived by her two grandchildren; Jennifer Smith (Peter) and Michael (Becky) Arsenault; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas Smith, Faith Arsenault and Jacob Arsenault. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Margaret is predeceased by her brother; George Stackhouse and three sisters, Lorrie Titus, Mary Bauer and Barbara Stackhouse. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Bobby’s Hospice for their compassionate care showed towards Margaret during her stay.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Although there will be no funeral service, visitation will be held on Thursday, March 06, 2014 at Fundy Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery on Friday, March 07, 2014 at 1:00PM. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made towards Bobby’s Hospice.
