May 25, 1931- March 4, 2014 - Passed peacefully away at Cambridge Estates on March 4, 2014, James Joseph Picco, aged 82 years. Predeceased by his wife Myra 2002; his parents James and Philomena; siblings Jerry (Helen), Raymond (Toni), Gordon (Maureen), Doreen (Art), and infant brother Edward; sister's-in-law Doreen Browne (Edward) and Patsy Hynes. Leaving to mourn son Gary, Gary's children Marshall and Angela; daughter Cathy (Ken McDonald), daughter Donna (Carl Burt), Donna's children Christopher, Megan and Nicole; daughter Lori (Paul Mighton), Lori's daughter Katie; siblings Charlie (Marie), Frank (Barb), Mary Adey (John), Carmel St. Croix (Paul O'Driscoll) and Wayne (Joanne); brother-in-law Lorne Hynes; sister-in-law Norma Hynes; cousin Josephine Davis; roommate Bob Downer; also a number of other relatives and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Dialysis Units and Cambridge Estates; especially to the staff for their loving care towards dad during his stay there. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday March 5 and Thursday March 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday March 7 at 9:30 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
