SNELGROVE, JEAN MAE (STEEVES) - 1930 - 2014 - Riverside-Albert, NB - Jean Mae (Steeves) Snelgrove, 83, passed away at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton on Sunday, March 2nd, 2014. Born in Hillsborough, NB, she was the daughter of the late Rutledge and the late Marjorie Steeves (Gaw). Besides her husband Ronald Snelgrove, she is survived by her two children, Kathleen (Wayne) Garnett, Ronald Snelgrove; her sister, Betty Sears; her two sisters-in-law, Doreen Steeves, Doris Steeves. She will also be deeply missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will also be missed by a few special people in her life, Todd Steeves, Michael and Donna McGinnis, Gary Cullen and family, Peggy Craig and Family and Emma Garnett. “Our mom loved all those who came into her life.” Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Evelyn; her son Wayne; her five brothers, Gordon, Jim, John, Bob and Rutledge; her great-grandson Thomas John Green.
In keeping with Jean’s wishes cremation has taken place and burial will take place later in the spring in Digby, NS. Donations to any Children’s charity would be appreciated by the family.
