We, the family of the late Mary (Walsh) Legatto of Florence, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours for the kindness, love and support shown to us during our recent loss. We will forever be grateful to Dr. Poulos and staff of 4 West at Northside Hospital, physicians and staff at the Cape Breton Cancer Centre and An Cala Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, as well as physicians and staff at the VG Hospital and the Health Science Centre, QEll Hospital, your kindness and compassion will always be remembered. We are also grateful for the services of Palliative Care, EHS and the VON. To those who attended the funeral, visited and brought food to our homes and to those who travelled to be with us-thank you. We thank you for the beautiful Mass and sympathy cards, online condolences, monetary gifts, charitable donations, phone calls and prayers. We are grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown by the staff of J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. Thank you to Fr. Thomas John for your blessings and Mass celebration of Mary’s life. Thank you to Cecil Snow and Iris Sampson who offered communion to Mary during her illness. Thank you to the choir of Holy Family Paris, readers, gift bearers, honor guard and Eucharistic ministers. Thank you to the ladies at St. Stephen’s Hall in Florence for the beautiful luncheon following the Mass. To all of you, we will forever be grateful.
