MORRISON, ANNIE - The death of Miss Anne “Annie” Josephine Morrison of Rocmaura Nursing Home, Saint John, NB and formerly of Chatham Head, NB, occurred at her residence on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the age of 89. Born in Portage River, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Luce (Roussell) Morrison. Annie was a homemaker who was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Chatham Head and attended St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Saint John while living there. Annie is survived by: two sisters: Elizabeth Basque and Mabel Morrison both of Saint John, NB; one brother: Handley Morrison of Chatham Head, NB; special nephew: Larry Morrison (Jacqueline) of Saint John, NB and several other nieces and nephews. Besides her parents: Annie is predeceased by: two sisters: Viola and Irene and two brothers: Albert and Edward Jr.
The family will receive visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home, on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Chatham Head on Monday at 11 AM with Father Stanislas Paulin officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery later in the spring. In Annie’s memory, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
