It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eli Green announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Sunday March 9, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: sons Monty, Corner Brook and Tom, Cox’s Cove; daughters: Isabel Antle (Gregory), Mississauga, ON, Glenda Osborne (Ches), Mississauga, ON, and Olga Payne, Cox’s Cove; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and close friends. He was predeceased by wife Laura; sister Elizabeth Brinston; daughters in law Sandra and Darlene, and son-in-law John Payne. Friends my visit St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove on Tuesday and Wednesday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., from where the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Charlene Lang officiating. Interment to follow at Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the family or to St. Nicholas Anglican Church.
