Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Friday, March 7, 2014, Cornelius Picco of St. Joseph's, St. Mary's Bay, formerly of St. Joseph's, Placentia Bay, aged 89 years. Predeceased by parents James and Selina, brothers Martin and Benedict and sisters Mary and Marion. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 64 years, Bertha; children: Isabelle, Neil (Joyce), Tom (Irene), Ben, Violet, Pat (Tracey), Bernice, Mary Lou (Shawn); grandchildren: Rene (Marty), Matthew (Chantelle), Christopher (Ashley), April (Matt), Morgan (Curtis), Amanda, Zoe (Steve), Michelle (Allen), Kimmy (Bryce), Paul (Stephanie), Adam (Amanda); great-grandchildren: James, Jessi, Claire, Caiden, Brooklyn, Rylan and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Enright Memorial Chapel, St. Joseph's, on Saturday, March 8, from 7 - 9pm and Sunday, March 9, 2 - 4pm; 7 - 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 10, at 10:30am, at St. Joseph's Church. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, O'Donnells.
