Audrey Fox
FOX, AUDREY E. - It is with a heavy hearts that we announce the death of our mother, Audrey E. Fox, on the 9th of March, 2014 after a brief illness. Born in Hoyt, NB she was the daughter of the late Eldon and Stella (Charlton) Mersereau. She was predeceased by her daughter, Bonnie and her husband Harold. Mom is survived by her children, Terrilee (Maynard) Horn of Moncton, Stephen (Trish) Fox of Mississauga, Patricia (Heather) Fox of Upper Coverdale, and Nancy (Micheal) Gallant of Kitchener and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Audrey is survived by sisters, Leona (Allan) Paisley of Oromocto, Gerri Walther of California, and Phyllis Whittaker of Sussex. Audrey will also be sadly missed by companion Bud Upham, whom has made the last few years very enjoyable for Mom. Audrey was always taking care of people. This started with caring for foster children in Grand Bay. Pat remembers waking in the morning and finding “babies everywhere”. After her children were grown, Audrey worked at Spencer Memorial Home and with Bayshore Healthcare. Mom spent many a long night comforting those who needed a hand to hold. Mom loved music, and a fiddle tune would set her feet a tapping. She was a member of the Hub City Cloggers and Scottish Country Dancers. Audrey also volunteered with the Karing Kitchen, Moncton Police Force, Codiac RCMP, and was past Grand Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. Mom loved life, always finding the positive in every situation. We will miss her deeply.
