At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, the sudden passing of Linda Mary Buchanan, age 73, of Montague, formerly of Belfast, wife of the late Lloyd Buchanan, occurred on Sunday, March 9, 2014.
Born in Boston, Mass, on May 26, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Dorothy (Edwards) Payne.
Linda is survived by her loving son, James (Kim) Buchanan; sisters, Vicki Stone, Ann (Steve) Andleman; cherished granddaughter, Georgia Grace Buchanan; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Linda was predeceased by her brothers, Richard and Joey.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting hours on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., from St. Mary's Catholic Church, Montague. Interment to take place in the parish cemetery, at a later date.
