Peacefully at the Garden Home on Thursday, March 13, 2014 of Mrs. Mary Margaret MacKenzie of Charlottetown, age 93 years.
Beloved wife of the late Roy MacKenzie and dear mother of Judy (deceased) (Wade Cripps) of B.C., Alan MacKenzie of Halifax, N.S., and Mary Lou (Lowell) Vessey of York. Loving grandmother of Alex (Amy) Cripps, Leslie Cripps (Claire Purdy), Michael (Tina) Vessey, Nancy (Charles) Bosworth, Ryan Vessey (Alexis Doiron) and Shawn Vessey (Akiko Shojiue). Great-grandmother of Justine, Derian and Riley Vessey, Taylor and Kelsey Cripps-McEwen, Dailyn and Harper Cripps and Caleb and Sullivan Bosworth. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Joan Kornoan, brother, Ralph "Boo" (Alexis) Trainor, and many nieces and nephews from Ontario. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Bucko (Kay) Trainor, Zeta Trainor, Marge (Tim) Baxter, Jim (Marlene) Trainor and Annabelle (Lonnie) McCabe.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
