Passed away peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Penetanguishene on Thursday March 13, 2014 in his 88th year. George will be sadly missed by his daughter Sharon (Paul) Nix, by his grandchildren Shelley (Jeff) Cyre, Jonathon Nix, and Michael Nix, and by his great grandchildren Evan, Riley, and Wyatt. George was dedicated to, and is now with, his beloved Gerry, his family and friends, and to his long time and only employer Imperial Oil. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Highland Memorial Gardens in the spring.
