The family of the late Barbara Humber wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who helped in any way during our recent loss.

We sincerely appreciated the words of comfort, phone calls, visits, cards, the beautiful flowers and most of all the hugs and offers of support. We appreciated the care and concern of the ambulance attendants, the pall bearers and the gentlemen who worked so hard to prepare the gravesite.

Our thanks to the owners and staff of Parsons Funeral Home for the efficient and gracious handling of the funeral arrangements, to Bernard House for his help in preparing the serivce, to Lloyd House for the beautiful solo, the readers and Bishop Whitten for conducting the service and to Mrs. Whitten for providing the music.

Our family was touched and overwhelmed with the generosity of extended family and friends. The outpouring of sympathy, the cash donations to the church in Barbara’s memory, and all the wonderful food were greatly appreciated. We especially want to thank our cousin, Joy Payne and her husband Morley for stepping in and making sure we were fed and housed in our time of need. We don’t know how we would have managed without them.

We hope we have not missed thanking anyone who helped and reached out to us. It has been a very trying time and one that we would have found harder to bear without the support of family, friends and a caring community.
